The Melampo is a true chameleon: it masquerades as a standard table light with a regular shade, but the shade can be pivoted about the bulb assembly, to change its look and the lighting effect. Both models can be positioned with the shade pointing downward and 34 degree upward; the "Table" model even has a position wherein the shade can be pivoted all the way around, with the the stem passing through a groove in the shade, to become an uplight! Die-cast aluminum base and extruded aluminum stem with grey or bronze powder coated finish. Diffuser in pale grey (for grey version) or beige (for bronze version) silk and polycarbonate fiber blend with inner adjustment assembly in anodized aluminum. On/off switch integrated into cord.
