The Uxi pendant, composed of panels of FSC-certified laminated plywood used in an original way. With the plywood's zebra grain in full view and different interior accent colors between the panels of plywood, Uxi allows light to escape between the laminated plywood panels. The goal of the use of this new diffusing material is to obtain more ecological and sustainable designs. The beauty and warmth of the wood emerges from a sinuous shape, created by the laminated plywood panels.

A portion of the proceeds from the sale of Shio and Uxi products are donated to a non-profit organization responsible for re-foresting the depleted rainforests of Brazil. The interior accent colors are available in white, yellow or wenge. Uxi is available as a suspension fixture or wall sconce. All Uxi items include a top diffuser.
