Cable-hung pendant with handcrafted glass diffuser. Tamburo 8 offers several different types of handcrafted glass diffusers:

• Foil- A layer of distressed foil on the inside of the clear glass diffuser. The metallic foil helps direct the light, and also allows for some light leak through random holes in the foil. The thin spots in the foil are not a defect, rather they are an intentional characteristic in the finish.
• Habanero- Clear glass with threads of black with an orange glass layer that can range from yellowish to reddish. An internal opal layer keeps the color saturated.
• Magma- Clear glass with threads and swirls of black with a layer of deep-red glass. An internal opal layer keeps the color saturated.
• Solid color- Colored (or white) glass is layered over an internal white layer of glass. Chemical etching or sandblasting the outer clear surface layer produces a soft finish.
