Adopting a sober approach, they opted for a die-cast aluminium frame containing an easily assembled and inspectable diffuser. Modular, impermeable, designed to hold various light sources, the Metropoli system received the Compasso d'Oro award in 1994.</p><p>This die-cast aluminium lamp with a diffuser made of prismatic glass or opal polycarbonate (available only for fluorescent version), provides a pleasant continuity of form between the interior and exterior of constructions.</p><p>Finish: Polished aluminum.</p> Painted aluminum finish in photo is available as special order only.
